At STG Freight Services Inc., we stand behind the quality of every container we sell. Whether you’re buying a brand-new unit or a certified used one, your purchase is protected by our Limited Warranty, along with our leakproof guarantee.

🆕 New ISO Shipping Containers

Warranty Coverage: 10 years from the purchase date
Includes:

  • Structural integrity
  • Weather resistance (including seals and flooring)
  • Door functionality
    Leakproof Guarantee: ✅ Yes, for the entire 10-year period
    Repair or Replacement: New or refurbished parts at our discretion

♻️ Used Cargo-Worthy Containers

Warranty Coverage: 5 years from the purchase date
Includes:

  • Structural soundness
  • Weather resistance
  • Door functionality
    Leakproof Guarantee: ✅ Yes, throughout the 5-year term
    Repair or Replacement: New or refurbished parts, as needed

❄️ Refrigerated Shipping Containers

New Refrigerated Units:

  • 🛠️ 5-Year Warranty on cooling components
  • 🧱 10-Year Warranty on container structure

Used / Refurbished Refrigerated Units:

  • 🛠️ 6-Month Warranty on cooling components
  • 🧱 5-Year Warranty on container structure

Our reefer containers are covered for both frame and cooling performance—so your temperature-sensitive operations stay on track.

🔁 Replacement Coverage

If a part of your container needs to be repaired or replaced under warranty, we’ll ensure coverage continues.

The replacement will either be covered for the remainder of your original warranty or five full years from the date of the repair or replacement—whichever gives you the more extended coverage period.

🚫 What’s Not Covered

Our warranty is there to protect you from manufacturing-related issues, but it doesn’t cover everything. Here’s a quick rundown of what’s not included:

  • Damage caused by misuse, accidents, or careless handling
  • Skipping regular maintenance or making changes without checking with us
  • Normal wear and tear that comes with regular use
  • Damage from extreme weather (like floods, hurricanes, etc.) that goes beyond what containers are designed to handle
  • Issues caused by moving the container without using the right equipment or taking precautions
  • Cosmetic stuff—scratches, dings, surface rust—that doesn’t affect how the container works
  • Anything that happens to the items you store inside (we don’t cover contents)

Heads-up: Once the container’s been delivered and accepted, it’s up to you to keep it in good shape. Leaks or other issues that pop up afterward aren’t something we can cover unless they’re linked to a manufacturing defect.

🛠️ Need to File a Warranty Claim?

No problem—if you think your container qualifies, just follow these steps:

  • Reach out to our team. Have your invoice number and purchase date ready.
  • Send us a few photos and a quick write-up of what’s going on.
  • We’ll take a look and, if needed, arrange a site visit.
  • If it’s a covered issue, we’ll handle the repair or replacement—on us.

📌 Just make sure the claim is made within the warranty window. The sooner you get in touch, the smoother things go.
